Air Arms S510
« on: November 26, 2009, 03:38:00 pm »
Hi all, well Ive had my 510 for a while now. I have had lots of ups and downs with it, when I first got it the power and consistency was all over the place. I bought It new. I am not a fan or returning to the manufacturer so I huffed and puffed and put it in the cabinet for four months! Well I fixed it in the end and Have had lots of hours of fun shooting!
Pros;
Stylish and Classy, get alot for your money. Very nice to shoot, easiest cocking mechanism in the world!
Cons;
Safety is well.... useless. Fell out in the end no joke! Air Arms had forgotten to tighten up the grub screw which holds firing pot in place causing inconsistency! Shroud does nothing!
My overall thoughts about it!
Well after I got over the cons I love this gun. I have tuned it so it only has a 7fps variation over 30 shots! Thats better than alot of regged guns. Very very accurate. I think its well worth buying. Even better after a tune!
